This Ikelite 5503.51 Dome Port allows use of the Tokina 12-24 mm zoom and other wide-angle zoom lenses in Ikelite underwater housing for Digital SLR Cameras.

The Tokina 12-24 mm zoom lens will focus close enough that adding a + diopter close-up to the lens is not required. The port could also be used with the Sigma 10-20 mm zoom lens but there is no zoom control provided. Lens must be used at fixed focal length.

The 45 degree angle helps you keep bubbles out of your vision and allows you to get the camera at much lower shooting angle. It gives you the freedom to shoot on the flat ocean bottom while still being able to see through the finder.

These finders are easily user interchangeable, enabling selection of appropriate viewfinder for different lenses, shooting conditions, styles & personal preferences.

These are high performance viewfinders that extends eyepoint without changing image size in viewfinder. 100% of camera’s finder image is seen (1.0x) without any vignetting, even underwater with a mask.

The viewfinder is positioned in parallel with the camera’s finder so viewing replicates same natural eye position relative to camera as when shooting on land.

Key component for «Olympus PT-027 /PT-020  to be replaced with genuine lens port to attach UWL-100 28AD lens.

This INON mount base is designed for the Olympus PT-027 (C-7070 camera), and PT-020 Housings (C-5060 camera). The port replaces the standard Olympus PPO-01 port so that INON attachment lenses can be easily attached or detached underwater once the diffuser is removed. The 28AD Port PT-027/020 body is machined aluminum for durability. The optical glass port is anti-reflection coated on the inside for optimum optical performance.

Description:

The Dome Unit for UWL-100 is a dome converter which can only be used when attached to an either UWL-100 Achromat Type I or Type II, or UWL-100 28AD wide conversion lenses .

Features:

• When attached to an Inon UWL-100 Achromat Type 1 or Type II wide conversion lens the Dome Lens Unit functions as a semi-fisheye Converter. The Dome Lens Unit enables the UWL-100 underwater angle of view to increase close to that of the UWL-100 when used in air. (Underwater view angle 131.6 degrees when used with C-3030 Zoom and PT-005 housing.)
• When attached on an UWL-100 28AD wide conversion lens with a «Dome Spacer for UWL-28AD» part, the Dome Lens Unit functions as a fisheye converter, enabling 150.8 degree underwater view angle, approaching the 179.0 degrees of the UWL-100 28AD when used in air. (with S70/S60 cameras in WP-DC40 housing)
• While the special optical design enables wider angle of view, the Dome Lens Unit also allows closer focusing distances for better close focus wide-angle imaging.
