BS Kinetics Housings for Fuji SLR cameras BS Kinetics Dahna Digital For:Canon EOS 5D/10D/20D/D30/D60, Olympus E10/E20/E-300, Fuji S1/S2,Nikon D70/D100/D200, Minolta 7D
BS Kinetics underwater housings are manufactured by the layering carbon fibres and epoxy resin a technique which is also applied in aeronautics. The carbon fibre is resistant to the pressure and bending load while the epoxy resin binds the carbon fibre fabric and helps it maintain its form. Carbon fibre has similar characteristics as steel but with the added advantage of working with a synthetic material. The properties of carbon fibre such as high tensile strength, low weight, and low thermal expansion make it very popular in aerospace, civil engineering, military, and motor sports and anywhere where low weight and extremely severe use is demanded. Carbon fibre makes it possible for BS Kinetics to manufacture cases which are light and yet withstand all harsh conditions of skin-diving.
All mechanical operating controls are 100% mechanical and are made of saltwater resistant V4A high-grade steel and are insulated with double o-rings thus guarantying maximum security. Flat dome ports, converter ports, viewfinder optics and grips are made of a high-quality synthetic material (POM). The O-rings are made of Silicon and NBR caoutchouc. The front and back housing sections fasten with saltwater resistant stainless steel latches.
